Polish import ban on Ukrainian farm goods face EU scrutiny for potential breach of trade rules

A Polish ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural goods is facing EU scrutiny as unilateral trade restrictions aren't allowed under the bloc's laws, a European Commission spokeswoman said today.
The regulator stopped short of calling the action illegal or saying what punitive measures it could take in response.
