Philip Morris-Swedish Match US antitrust waiting period expired on July 6

Tobacco giant Philip Morris International and Swedish Match saw the US antitrust waiting period for their proposed $16 billion deal expire on July 6.

“We can confirm that no further requests have been made and that the waiting period for the transaction under the U.S. Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended
