Payoneer enters into $1.4 million Office of Foreign Assets Control settlement over US sanctions violations

Payoneer, a publicly traded New York-based money transmitter, has agreed to pay $1.4 million to settle a US Treasury Department action over its apparent violations of sanctions on several countries and individuals.
Payoneer processed about 2,200 transactions involving Iran, Sudan, Syria and Crimea, a disputed region of Ukraine, Treasury's Office
