PackFilm-Terphane deal won’t result in price increases, companies tell CADE

Plastic makers PackFilm and Film Trading, which are acquiring rival Terphane, have informed the Brazilian competition authority that their products are subject to competition from both imports and domestic players.
They stress that any price hike on their part after the deal would inevitably result in Terphane losing market share
