P&G-Billie deal draws US FTC challenge in agency’s latest razor industry enforcement action

Procter & Gamble’s proposal to buy Billie would eliminate growing head-to-head competition from a nascent competitor in US wet shave razor markets, the Federal Trade Commission alleged today, challenging the transaction less than a year after its suit to block the Edgewell Personal Care-Harry’s deal.
