OPPO to pay part of SEP royalties demanded by US holder, China top court rules

Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has been ordered by China's highest court to pay only a small fraction of the royalties demanded by Advanced Codec Technologies for the US company's patents essential to industry standards.
The Supreme People's Court asked OPPO to pay licensing fees totalling 15.4 million yuan ($2.15 million)
