Oil, coal, gas imported to the EU may face methane emissions requirements under EU Parliament’s stance

Oil, coal and gas producers may have to follow tougher EU requirements to reduce methane emissions due to checks that lawmakers want European energy importers to carry out.
The measure is part of the draft European Parliament stance on the EU energy sector’s methane emissions law, which was passed today
