NortonLifeLock-Avast deal cleared in Spain

NortonLifeLock has secured Spanish approval for its proposed buyout of cybersecurity rival Avast, according to an update on the national competition authority’s register today.
Spanish approval comes after Germany’s competition watchdog cleared the deal, valued at between $8.1 billion and $8.6 billion, earlier this month (see here). The deal was cleared
