No ‘stop-the-clock’ option makes tender reviews for foreign subsidies difficult, EU official says

The European Commission’s powers to review whether bidders in EU tenders are benefitting from distortive foreign subsidies are hindered by its inability to “stop the clock” during probes, according to an official from the EU's executive arm.
