New WTO head Okonjo-Iweala faces difficult tasks

Nigeria's Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a former World Bank official, was confirmed today as the new head of the World Trade Organization.
As the first woman in that job, she will face the difficult task of reforming the Geneva-based trading body after years of stagnation and growing disagreements about its functioning.
