New regulations unnecessary to enforce AI in India, government think tank says

A think-tank that sits within India’s government has proposed an artificial intelligence oversight board to establish a framework for enforcing responsible AI principles. In a sign that India is unlikely to introduce new AI-specific regulations, NITI Aayog said existing regulatory instruments are best placed to enforce rules and standards in AI,
