New deputy director general to be appointed to China's antimonopoly bureau

China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, or SAMR, will soon appoint a new deputy director general to its antimonopoly bureau, after several senior officials at that position retired last year, MLex has learned. 

A veteran antitrust enforcer with experience in investigations and merger reviews at the agency is most likely to be promoted
