Nestlé, Alois Müller win cartel damages from sugar producers in German court

German sugar producers Südzucker, Nordzucker and Pfeifer & Langen must pay damages to Nestlé Deutschland and Molkerei Alois Müller for pushing up prices through anticompetitive conduct.

The judgment of a regional court in Mannheim concerned two "pilot cases," with other claims pending from food and drinks companies.
