Morgan Stanley filed US antitrust paperwork in early March on E-Trade deal

Morgan Stanley filed its US antitrust paperwork for its proposed acquisition of E-Trade earlier this month, a company spokesperson told MLex.
The all-stock deal, announced Feb. 20, would bring E-Trade’s discount brokerage platform and 5.2 million client accounts to Morgan Stanley, which plans to offer those clients additional wealth-management services.
