Microsoft offers to store EU customers' data locally to appease regulatory concerns

Microsoft has said that it will allow EU customers of its cloud services to keep data within the bloc, as the bloc's privacy regulators start to rule against trans-Atlantic data transfers following an EU court ruling last year on the legality of these flows.
