Meta's Facebook, Instagram have become 'marketplace' for sexual predators seeking children, New Mexico says in lawsuit

Meta Platforms was sued by the state of New Mexico today on claims that the company tapped the personal data of teens and children to addict them to Facebook and Instagram while allowing those services to become “a marketplace for predators in search of children upon whom to prey.”
