Meta loses bid to appeal UK court ruling approving mass claim over Facebook data practices

Meta Platforms has failed in its bid to appeal a ruling from UK competition judges which approved for trial a mass claim over Facebook data practices. 
At the UK Court of Appeal, the US tech giant sought permission to appeal an earlier ruling (see here) from the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
