Mergers remain a 'crucial' issue, while antitrust tools may need supplementing, de Silva says

Merger control is a “crucial issue” in digital markets, and the French competition authority needs to solve the problem that some mergers are not on its radar, its chief executive said today.

Isabelle de Silva said the regulator may need a "new form of legal intervention" to supplement its existing antitrust enforcement
