Merck argued over Sigma false-information charges at EU hearing last year

Merck KGaA has said that it "countered" revised antitrust charges last year over the supply of incorrect information during the EU review of its 2015 acquisition of Sigma-Aldrich.
The European Commission issued Merck and Sigma-Aldrich with formal charges in 2017, alleging that they provided “incorrect or misleading information” during its review
