Medical device maker Cooper’s abandonment of Cook Medical deal hailed as victory by US FTC

Cooper Cos., a publicly traded global medical device manufacturer, chose to terminate a deal to acquire the reproductive health division of medical device maker Cook Medical Holdings after facing an antitrust investigation from the US Federal Trade Commission, according to the agency.
