Localiza, Unidas tell CADE their merger will result in significant overlaps in 74 Brazilian cities

Localiza and Unidas have told the Brazilian competition authority that their merger in the car rental market will result in overlaps in 130 cities, of which 74 will be significantly more concentrated after the transaction.
The parties filed paperwork with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, on Jan.
