Kronospan’s Pfleiderer deal on brink as EU readies veto

Wood-panels maker Kronospan faces an EU block on its bid to buy rival Pfleiderer’s Polish business, MLex has learned.
The EU’s merger regulator rejected concessions from the company in October to ease market concerns as insufficient, MLex understands. The deadline for the European Commission to issue its verdict is Dec.
