KPS files buyout of Crown’s European tinplate business for EU review

KPS Capital Partners has requested EU approval to acquire Crown Holdings’ European tinplate steel packaging business, according to an update today on the European Commission's register of deals.

The EU regulator has set an Aug. 20 deadline to decide on the deal.

Crown will receive approximately 1.9 billion euro
