KPMG settles UK liquidator’s legal claim over Carillion audits

KPMG has settled a UK legal claim that it faced of up to 1.3 billion pounds ($1.6 billion) over its audit of construction group Carillion, which collapsed in 2018 with huge debts.
The auditing firm confirmed the settlement today in a statement, without revealing the terms.
