K+S and Remex offer waste-management JV remedies in bid for EU clearance

German mining company K+S and Remondis subsidiary Remex have offered commitments in a bid to gain EU clearance for their plan to combine their waste-management businesses in a joint venture.
The European Commission currently has an Oct. 19 deadline after extending its initial probe by 10 working days last week
