JBS, Tyson executives defend practices at US Senate hearing on price disparities, transparency in meatpacking markets

Executives for JBS and Tyson Foods defended themselves against allegations their behavior suppressed prices paid to farmers and auction owners for their livestock, as they fielded questions from a US Senate panel today on pricing disparities and transparency in meatpacking markets.
