Japan's top 4 pharma wholesalers raided by JFTC and Tokyo prosecutors for suspected criminal bid rigging

Japan’s top four pharmaceutical wholesalers Alfresa, Mediceo, Suzuken and Toho Pharmaceuticals were targets of a joint raid by antitrust authorities and prosecutors today on suspicions of rigging bids for drugs over a period of four years involving 140 billion yen (US $1.3 billion) and 57 hospitals, MLex has learned.
