Jailed Unaoil executive poised to learn fate of UK bribery conviction appeal

A former Unaoil executive jailed for bribery last year will learn the fate of his appeal against his conviction and prison sentence tomorrow.

Ziad Akle was sentenced to five years in jail in June 2020 for bribing an Iraqi official to win oil contracts worth millions of dollars for Monaco-based oil
