Iveco fends off truck cartel claims at Italian court

Truckmaker Iveco has defeated damages claims at a court in Naples, after judges said the lawsuit was groundless because the purchased trucks were not covered by the European Commission’s cartel decision.

The dispute goes back to July 2016, when Daimler, DAF, Volvo/Renault and Iveco received record fines totaling 2.93 billion euros
