Instagram’s Irish appeals of major data protection fines adjourned, pending EU challenge

Instagram’s domestic appeals of an Irish 405 million-euro ($430 million) General Data Protection Regulation fine have been paused pending a challenge at an EU court. 
Meta Platforms, which owns Instagram, is fighting the enforcement, which is about children’s privacy on three fronts.
