Indian Supreme Court calls for additional legislation to control streaming platforms

Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services delivering content over the Internet are likely to see more changes to regulate their activities in India.

The Indian Supreme Court wants the government to come up with additional legislation carrying repercussions for those who violate the newly gazetted Information Technology Rules 2021.
