India requires Amazon, Flipkart to publish search ranking parameters

India has introduced new consumer protection rules for e-commerce that will require platforms like Amazon and Flipkart to publish their search ranking parameters together with the standard terms and conditions they impose upon sellers. 
The new rules also say that e-commerce companies cannot manipulate the price of goods or discriminate
