In Hapvida-Intermédica merger review, more than 70 companies queried on impact on healthcare, hospital markets in Brazil states

More than 70 market players including health insurance firms Amil, SulAmérica and Bradesco Seguros have been queried by the Brazilian competition authority about which states will be affected by Hapvida's planned merger with Notre Dame Intermédica and whether the deal would hinder “eventual expansion plans” from competitors in the markets for healthcare
