Imabari Shipbuilding, Japan Marine United file JV for EU review

Japanese shipbuilders Imabari Shipbuilding and Japan Marine United have requested EU approval to form a joint venture, according to an update today on the European Commission's register of deals.
The European Commission has set a Dec. 16 deadline to decide on the alliance.
