Illumina fights gun-jumping fine in EU hearing today

Illumina’s hearing to discuss its implementation of the Grail acquisition before obtaining EU authorization will take place this afternoon in Brussels.

The American life-sciences company notified the transaction to the European Commission in June 2021 (see here) under protest, since it contested the regulator’s jurisdiction to vet the deal.
