IEA ready to release more oil stocks to calm market after Ukraine invasion, Birol says

The International Energy Agency's member countries are ready to release more oil stocks to the market if they are needed, executive director Fatih Birol has said.

IEA countries already released 61.7 million barrels of oil to the global market last week — the largest stock release in the agency’s history
