HMD files EU antitrust complaint against VoiceAge EVS in patent dispute

HMD Global, the exclusive licensee for Nokia-branded phones, has turned to EU antitrust investigators over conduct by VoiceAge EVS, the holder of patents used for voice calls on 4G networks.
HMD believes VoiceAge EVS is unnecessarily including its patent in standards and is committing “royalty ambushing” in breach of EU
