Google sees French court uphold EUR150 million fine over adtech abuse of dominance

Google has failed to overturn a French fine for abusing its dominant position in online search advertising by imposing unfair terms on advertisers, the tech giant has confirmed. 

The Paris Court of Appeal has upheld the entire fine of 150 million euros ($165 million) imposed by the French competition authority in 2019 (see here),
