Google's planned takeover of Fitbit would be a 'game-changer,' consumer groups warn

Before letting Google take over smartwatch maker Fitbit, regulators around the world should be wary of the deal’s “far-reaching and dynamic effects on digital and health markets,” consumer groups have warned.

In a common statement published today (see here), some 20 consumer and citizen groups from the EU, US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America
