Google has 'utter dominance' in Android app distribution, Epic’s economist tells jury in US antitrust trial

Google has overwhelming monopoly power in the market for app distribution on Android phones and engaged in anticompetitive practices to sustain it, an economist hired by Epic Games told the jury in the US trial over Google’s Play store.
