Google extending third-party billing pilot to India not linked to antitrust probe

Google’s decision to introduce a third-party billing system in India isn’t linked to the antitrust probe into the company’s controversial app-store payment policy, Google has told Mlex.
"This is simply the next step in the user choice billing pilot announced in March 2022," a Google spokesperson said in a WhatsApp
