Google escapes US court-mandated negative instruction but will face further scrutiny over chat preservation in Epic trial

Google escaped a court-mandated adverse order over its failure to preserve internal communications that could be used as evidence in its antitrust fight with Epic Games, but will be subject to further scrutiny for the behavior, a federal judge said as both sides finished presenting evidence.
