Google denied dismissal of Mississippi COPPA claims

Google must defend claims by the state of Mississippi that it violated the US federal children’s privacy law, after a federal judge reached a different conclusion than a judge in New Mexico about whether the company’s G Suite for Education tools had obtained parental consent to collect children’s data.
