Google completes Looker deal after UK regulator finds they aren't close rivals

Google's confidence that its buyout of business-analytics company Looker Data Sciences wouldn't meet significant resistance from the UK's antitrust regulator has been vindicated after the deal was cleared today.

The Competition and Markets Authority — which had put a freeze order on the deal last month while it completed
