Google Chrome 'Sync' privacy case will proceed quickly to class certification, US judge says

A closely watched privacy suit that accuses Google of illegally harvesting user data from Chrome users not signed into their Google account will proceed directly into class certification, a US judge in California said today after a federal appeals court resurrected the case in August.
