Google asks EU judges to stop ‘unwarranted expansion’ of antitrust powers in AdSense appeal

Google has said that a fine of 1.49 billion euros ($1.6 billion), levied for abusive ad contracts with websites, failed to analyze the real effects on the market, disregarded “pro-competitive justifications,” and constituted an “unwarranted expansion” in investigating exclusive business relations.
