Germany to be climate neutral by 2045, under proposed climate law tweaks

German businesses could face a net-zero emissions goal by 2045, instead of the EU target of 2050, and a 65 instead of 55 percent pollution cut within the next decade, according to plans presented today by the country’s environment and finance ministers to tweak the country’s 2019 climate law.
