Former Bombardier exec charged over Azerbaijan rail-project 'bribes'

A former Bombardier Transportation executive in Sweden has been charged with bribery offenses over a $350 million railway project that the company carried out in Azerbaijan.

Thomas Bimer, a former manager at the engineering company, has been charged with bribery and faces a criminal trial in Stockholm, a Swedish prosecutor confirmed
