Florida social media law blocked by US judge, won't take effect at midnight

Florida’s new law regulating social media platforms won’t go into effect as planned tonight at midnight after a federal judge said it’s likely unconstitutional.

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation in May making the Sunshine State the first to have a statute forcing social media companies into carrying content they otherwise might seek
