Financial promotions ‘gateway’ perceived as a ban on crypto ads, UK regulator concedes

A new regime intended to clamp down on misleading ads in the unregulated financial services sector has been perceived as a de-facto ban on crypto ads, the UK’s financial watchdog has acknowledged.
